QIP build 8040

QIP is a free unique closed source computer program for immediate cross-Internet communication. The basic functionality of QIP enables its users to see who else is online and available and then easily contact them with text messages in real time sent through a public server.
It`s one of the most popular instant messengers. It is used by many thousands of users. QIP is for instant message delivery and feedback.

History of creating QIP starts with the fall of 2004. On a rainy day, St. Petersburg, one of the most conventional Delphi programmers, decided to create an entirely easy Internetpager for personal use. The program was created, in pogrammer`s free time, and mostly at night. It was expected that it would be the minimal opportunities program, which will have only one aim, to ensure the messages transfer. No graphics, or sound were not planned at all, only the necessary, windows and buttons. This should have been "Quiet Internet Pager".

Sustained and inspired by his friends, the author of the program, Ilgam Zulkorneev, decided to go further and create a full client to communicate on the network. There is one important thing that the author use this program every day and it help to update and make QIP more flexible. As a result of a long and hard work to the expiration of a few years, you can now see the resultby using QIP.

The first version of QIP was the version 2005 under MS Windows. The figure 2005 means a year of the first build. In the middle of 2006 author`s friend Alexander Smirnov started to work on this project. As a result at the end of 2006 was created QIP PDA program for mobile devices under MS Windows Mobile. At first author didn`t want to use modules for the program because of the small number of users. But very soon it was obvious that QIP is used by every third Internet-pager user. So it was necessary to make modules to support it`s flexibility. The program was named QIP Infium. It allows connecting with different instant message networks at the same time.

Then it was decided to support the project seriously, find reliable partners and work on the principle "Quiet intercourse = stabile program + comfortable talking + choice of interesting and useful services"
